Tony introduced me to Mark, who at the time, was looking for a heavy rock drummer with good double bass drum technique to play on his solo record. I transcribed the parts the night before I went in to cut the drums.

There was one track Vitalij wrote called "Atlantis", which was a last minute inclusion to the record. I transcribed it in the studio, just prior to cutting it. Not only that, but there was NO CLICK TRACK on the guide track!!! I played it without click track, and if you’re familiar with it, you’ll know it’s not the simplest track to play, and there are some biiiig holes. It’s a good thing I enjoy a challenge!
